Silent Clusterfuck (bianca), earbuds & acrylic, 2008.

I'm no where near as in love with music as my boyfriend is. I can gladly sit in silence and stalk the interenets, whereas dead silence bothers him. Sometimes my drive home is talk radio, other times just might thoughts. I think he borders an obsession with sound. What I am loving right now is Jennie's works based on listening, music and concepts of audio.

I love silence too. there is something so peaceful about it and sometimes i like to hear just the natural sounds around me like the birds chirping or the fridge gurgling or the clock ticking...but not snoring, never snoring...ever.
i'm a music fan but lately i don't need it. and i'm a HUGE mother ass talk radio fan...especially when its super controversial and people call in and let it loose.
blah.

My husband is the same. Either the radio, stereo or tv is on. Our neighbour is the same also. He has an extension cord running out from his house across the garden out to his man cave so he can 'stay tuned'. Must be a boy thing.
