Ivan Bordas
"Black and White Snake Shield"
Oil on Panel; 24" diameter, 2006

A funny thing to do is, if you're out hiking and your friend gets bitten by a poisonous snake, tell him you're going to go for help, then go about ten feet and pretend that *you* got bit by a snake. Then start an argument with him about who's going to go get help. A lot of guys will start crying. That's why it makes you feel good when you tell them it was just a joke.

Hands down the best piece of manatee related graffiti on the planet. One of my best friends, Tiffany excellently representing Florida on a legal wall in Berlin.
Her personal travel blog lieblingslauf allows me to keep a track of her awesomness.

She makes the 305 proud.

kick off

This whole week I'm featuring the work and achievements of my very talented associates. To kick off crony week, here is an open letter to my best friend, the internets:

Dear Internet,

Thanks for hosting my little Art & Vanity blog. If it weren't for you, I'd have never made such an amazing webstie. Through your magic, 1,981 miles away feels like nothing. Fortunately I was able to meet up with her and solidify a long lasting bond carved in br

Thanks for again for being so awesome, internet.

Warmest Regards,

they finally meet:
If you felt a slight shock under your feet on Sunday, don't fret, that was just the earth having a little orgasm when Grace and I came together.

After a whirlwind week filled with camping, then flying 2k miles to Arizona, enduring corporate consumption & mental exhaustion at a 5 day business trip and hanging out with great friends, the last thing I want to do is prep for the real world tomorrow.
I'd like to call in sick and tell Life it can pass me bye on Monday. I've done a bit too much in the past couple days and I'd like time to pause for a moment.

241.4016 km

We've got a big bike weekend planned, full of cheering, camping and schlepping around stuff. I'll be rooting for my boyfriend and his team's 150 mile charity ride for the National MS Society. Ben's ridding down to the Florida keys in 2 days, in honor of his Aunt Katie. If you'd like to support and donate to the cause visit here.

happy friday
