Everyone has an animal counterpart. I happen to think I resemble a Koala. With my semi constant yawning and bouts of 9-5 narcolepsy I seem to act like one too.
What's your animal resemblance?

little boxes

The teensie apartment flooded over the weekend.

Like really really flooded, with busted pipe sewer water. Not too much was destroyed- just a few special things got water damaged. Flooding is traumatizing. We have to move now. I'm not thrilled about this but I look forward to decorating a new space kinda.
Now we have to search for a new dry little box to make our own.

Michael Bojkowski Hakusan Cat Figure

Dear Black Cat that recently crossed my path,

I kinda hate you for cursing me with all this recent bad luck. Having my apartment flood over the weekend in 5" inches of sewer water was really shitty. I'm also not happy about this killer hangnail that keeps bugging me. I hope you stop plaguing me with misfortunes you adorable harbinger of bad luck.
With Respect,
Melody

Unless you're involved with thinking about what you're doing, you end up doing the same thing over and over, and that becomes tedious and, in the end, defeating.
