Print give-a-way

I'm giving away two Ryan Berkley prints to one lucky MM reader this week!

Free goods just in time for the Holidays. Whether these are for you, or as a gift for someone you care about, these guys will be enjoyed. Anyone who's ever clicked on Etsy, browsed arty craft blogs or visited an Urban Outfitters has come across Ryan Berkley's animal portraits. Now's your chance to score my two favorite guys: the karaoke singing bat and hungry billy goat.

5x7" -Both are digital archival prints created from original pen and ink drawing. Comes with backing in plastic sleeve just for you - all ready to pop in a frame. All images by Ryan Berkley Illustration

To enter just leave a comment stating what you plan to do with the winning prints.
For extra bonus points-- anyone who leaves me a Haiku will be offered 2 additional entries to win.
The winner will be announced next Tuesday December 8th.
Goodluck!

Giveaway: Taschen Simple Diary

Dear memelodia readers and passerbys,
Welcome to my first blog giveaway. I am excited to share this Taschen Phillipp Keel Simple Diary with you. The diary I'm offering up is in White (of course) and very slick. It's the perfect little companion for non committal people who like to occasionally capture life's moments. It's basically a mash-up of a journal, a multiple choice quiz, Twitter, Mad Libs, and a sketchbook. All you have to do is leave a comment stating your favorite website or blog crush. Make sure I have a way to get in touch with you in case you're the lucky chosen winner. I will pick someone at random next Wednesday October 14th.
Good luck,
Melody

Why Simple Diary?
There are three reasons why most people, although they have tried, won't keep a diary:

1. Not every day is very eventful.
2. It actually takes a lot of discipline to write.
3. In retrospect, many find what they have written embarrassing.

Keel's Simple Diary offers structure for those who don't have time to wonder, making it easy to record life's moments. It gives the pleasure of a quick response and the sense that no matter what's wrong, more is right. On every page you will discover a taste of philosophy, a pinch of psychology and a twist of insight.
